Jared and Strong Daddy

As we all sat eating breakfast this morning, the boys were talking about their daddy.
Nolan "Daddy you look different today. You look like there's something sticking out of you. You look strong."
(I'll try to write Jareds comment as phonetically close as possible-since he's yet to speak any comprehensible version of English)
Jared "You Ha-UGE! You St-rong! You hole ub da worl wif one finner!"
How does daddy hold up the world with one finger one might wonder?
Jared "You stan on da tay-boo"
He makes it all seem so simple :)

Leanne and Ben's video

Leanne and Ben

Karen and I had a fantastic low-key wedding this past Sunday. I graduated high school with Leanne. She' has since moved off to Boston where she met the ever so cute, Ben. They are so sweet together, and we had a wonderful time with them. The weather and foliage were gorgeous at Belhurst.
Thank you both!
We wish you many years of happiness!

Still Not Quite Married

The wedding of my sister-in-law Jess and her new husband Joe a month ago was amazing, and went off without a hitch...well, almost.
Jess and Joe received a letter in the mail last week from the marriage license processing folks...
"we received your badly damaged marriage certificate in the mail via the US postal service"
They've been together 10 years-and they're still not quite married. :)
While they were up this weekend we resigned, and witnessed everything-let's hope the US postal service can do better the second time around.
Good luck guys!

Nolans Pumpkin

Nolan brought his pumpkin patch pumkin home from school today.
He was so excited to show us.
He explained in the car ride home that his bookbag was sooooooo heavy from his pumpkin.
He had drawn himself on his pumpkin.

We reached home and he lugged his "so heavy" bag into the house. He plopped it on the floor, and produced...

I had to share this. He thinks very highly of himself :)

He'll hate me when he starts dating!

Nolan's class goes to the Pumpkin Patch

On Wednesday I went with Mrs. Lester's class to the Pumpkin Patch in Flint.
All of the children had a great time with the rhymes, and the critters, and choosing their own pumpkins.

Fall photos

Nolan and JAred have been begging to jump in the leaves. The leaves are not falling fast enough at our house. I raked for about 20 minutes to get this sad little pile, bu they loved it! It is so wonderful to have this warm weather and for me to spend some quality time with my boys.

The neighbors dog, Toby, came over for a run in the leaves too.

Haschmann Wedding

Ellen and I had a fantastic wedding on Saturday with Karlee & Brian. We started the day at the Luxe with Karlee, and ended at the Double Tree in Henrietta. What a great day in October! It was so warm and sunny and wonderful, and the bridal party was so much fun!

Growing up

At the ripe ol' age of 4, Daddy has decided to teach Nolan how to drive. He can start it all by himself. He knows which is drive and reverse, and is slowing learning how to pull a wagon-with a little help from his little brother.

AJ & MJ turn 1!

I had my cute little buddies AJ & MJ in the studio on Sunday. Two one year olds-they were all over the place but we were able to wrangle them both long enough to capture some great shots of each.

the end.

"Mason" jars

My sister, Aunt Kellie and I spent ALL day Saturday canning! We started at about 9:30, and cleaned up to start making dinner at 6:30. It was a long hard day, but it was well worth it! We ended up with about 20 jars each of Grape juice, apple sauce, and spaghetti sauce, and 4 jars of grape jam. MMMMmmmm good.
