The Wedding

A few of my favorites image from the day. I had such a great time. Everyone did! We should do this every weekend Jess-is that ok with you? Sharlie, me, Jayme, Sarah, and Jesser.
The Lee girls-
-soon to be the Viscome/Lee girls_
Side pocket baby.
waiting very patiently for the party to start.
Jared didn't want to wait with Nolan, he started to cry when I walked out, so he went with me instead. He did great!
Nolan was such a great ring borrower! He had to visit Nonny and Poppy-but he eventually made it down the aisle. As did Emma, the flower girl. When she got to the end of the aisle, Jared was so angry with her for making a mess on the floor. He shook his finger, and looked down his nose at her-it was so funny!
The siblings

Tiny bride-big men
Mark had the funniest best mans speech ever! He may never live it down.
He had "many firsts with Joe"
we don't want to know about them...

A fairy tale ending to her castle wedding.

Rehearsal Dinner

I've discovered that it is WAY more work to be IN a wedding rather than photographing it. My boys-aren't they handsome with their spikey hair?-myself, and my husband were all in the bridal party for his sister's wedding this past weekend.
The Nolanator!
Jaredzilla- a.k.a. - spiderman
Peek-a-boo, I see you!
Jayme
Sharlie
Still a loud Lee
Keira and daddy Kevin

An awesome sunset at Vernan Downs Race Track

"Vanilla Ice"
Jared-just one bite will do, then we'll put it back :)

pre wedding

What better to do the day before your wedding than grab a friend (and the dog) and pop bubble wrap! Ah...life is good :)

Keira, Keira, bo-beira

KEIRA!

Fantastic Four

Sorry about the small pictures folks, there's just so many of them!
I opted out of this tri as well because I can not run-I did SO much running, I should have just entered the triathalon!
Mark cut almost 30 minutes off of his time-he kicked butt!
Jess cut about 15-20 minutes of of hers.
Joe survived, coming in just over 2 hours-a great shwing for his first race.
And Karen kicked some serious tail, coming in under 2 hours for her first race!
Great Job everybody-and you all survived to partake in the upcoming wedding-yeah!

Luen & Chase

Ellen and I had such a great wedding on Saturday with Luen and Chase! The rain held off until...the ceremony started! There was no sunshine, so no chance of a rainbow. But they were such a great couple, and a great group! They didn't let the rain damped their fun!
Luen's father pre-recorded himself singing the song for their father daughter dance, it was so sweet!
Is it odd to cry at other people's weddings? I find that I do this more and more as time goes on. Especially with couples that I feel friendships with.
It was such a beautiful, fun, romantic day. Congratulations-you guys are awesome!

It's fixed!

Jared has surgery this morning to fix his "trigger thumb". We had to be at the hospital at 6:45-that was early!
The Doctor initialed his thumb to make sure they fixed the right one.
The bed was pretty high, and pretty neat!
"Peekaboo, I see you"
And off he went, for his wagon ride.
And we wait......
This is actually bandage number two. The "bearclaw" came off in about 1.2 minutes flat.
Toy Story seamed to calm the nerves of the post surgery boy. (He screamed, kicked, & cried for about 30 minutes after they brought him out)
And a wheel chair ride to the car, compliments of Nonny.
Yep-that's the right kid :)

Third Times A Charm

Nolan fell asleep on the bus yesterday. So trike two!

But today-SUCCESS! He got off all by himself, yeah!

Too funny to not share!

Mark and I found this picture tonight from a wedding that Steve shot with us at Belhurst.
It's healthy to laugh at ourselves-right?
Laugh on...

End-Day 1

He got on the bus great-getting off-not so good...

The bus stopped, the doors opened. Jared anxiously awaits the arrival of his brother who's been missing for three long hours. But there's no Nolan. Hmmm....

Kellie and Jared creep closer to the bus to investigate the situation. And what do they find?

Nolan! "I'm not getting off the bus here. I'm going to Nonnie's house"

Bus driver-"I don't know where Nonnie lives. You're mommy says you need to get off here"

"I'll show you where she lives!"

That's where the kicking and screaming started- as Kellie picked up my ticked off sack of potatoes and crushed his plans of showing the bus driver where Nonnie lives.

Oh well-there's always tomorrow! (And I'm SURE he'll try again)

No looking back

My Nolanator started school today. *sniff*He was so excited to ride the big bus, and see all of his friends at "basketball school"
They waited anxiously. Squinting into the sun to see the bus come around the corner.
And it did come! Dew drops fell on my camera lense as Jared pointed out the bus to Nolan.
And off he went, like a flash. No looking back.

Maggie's video

Maggie-Class of 2009

Have I ever said how much fun my job is?
I had so much fun on this photo shoot, it almost makes me want to do more! (Don't tell Steve!)
It was blazing sun, and hot and humid, then it poured and was rainy and dreary and gloomy. Then the wind started too-how much better can it get?
And I'm so happy with how they turned out! I'm working on the video right now, I'll post that as well once it's ready.

Thank you Maggie!

-And Steve-yes, yes-you did teach me (almost) everything I know.

"struggle"

Your "Nolanism" for the day.

Struggle:

"A struggle is when you have a heart attack putting on a sweat shirt-that's a truggle Mommy"

:)

sure is!

self portrait

When asked to draw a self portrait my 4 year old took this right to heart. He laid down on the sidewalk and had Daddy trace his little body. Then his brother, and ultimatly Moose. Ever try to trace a dog? So there's my front walk with chalk outlines of my husband, two boys, and something that resemples the dog.
But where's mommy's portriat he asked.
Mommy is the capturer of events. Every image that is produced when I'm behind the lense is my self portrait. I love all my boys, and everything they have made me.
